Let us have a look at the popular “R – Triple A” (R-AAA) model we use with many of our small and medium sized clients. Our mission give as much transparency and information as possible to help organisation make informed decisions about their business systems and processes. R-AAA dives through your business in four distinct phases to learn it from the inside out to deliver you the best solutions to fit your organisations individual needs. Here is some more detail about each the steps:
Review Change starts from the top and this is where we focus when working with a new client. Evaluate the strategic needs and direction of the organisation is vital for building a solid picture of your organisation, how its business dataflow and processes interact on a high-level fundamental level. Audit Once we have a good idea of how the information moves through your organisation’s structure we then seek to isolate and dive deeply into each dataflows origin, transformation, and termination points. How is information being generated, who is generating, who is interacting with it and finally how is it being used to drive business decisions. Analyse Once we know where all the information flows sit and how they are working on a fundamental level we then seek to aggregate our findings, draw conclusions and map them against the current business environment and the market as a whole. How does the business stake up, are the systems and processes in line with industry standards and best practice? Are your business systems and processes delivering the results you are needing them to for your business? The analyse phase seeks to answer this. Action Finally with the all this in hand we go about creating a full, well-rounded and feasible plan to overhaul, rebuild, implement of simply tweak your existing systems and processes to deliver real time saving and compliant enabled outcomes for your business. Data Management for the 2019 business can be a complex and certainly an ever evolving task to tackle. Let’s face it; it can be a growing and seeming insurmountable problem to most small and medium business. The treat and pressure of automation, security, ever increasing data flows, redundancy processes, office/shop-floor integration and an ever increasing set of data flow we know can be overwhelming; especially for .
In light of this I would we could kick off a blog which shares some of the problems all businesses are facing in their data management, how they have approached them and the learnings and successes they have gotten out of it. Together we can work to build and share systems and processes which make our businesses work for us, our staff and our customers. To start us off, you always need to look at the challenge of Data Management not as a problem but as an opportunity. We cannot stress how vital to success it is. It’s a chance to leverage your staff, cut costs, and secure your future as a viable business beyond 2020. I was at a conference last year and one of the key note speakers had a quote something along the lines of: “If businesses haven’t addressed data management and Industry 4.0 in 5 years, they won’t be around in 10”. This was from a senior member of the Australian Ministry of Business. There really is so much top-down conviction from political and business leaders about the need for small and medium businesses to adapt to the changing business environment. Be sure to check in for updates to this blog as we move through some experiences and learnings from our clients, projects and implementations. |
